IFS Broker V3.2 published

From July 1, 2024, IFS Broker version 3.2 audits will be mandatory. The most important change is the point system with the "B". There are also clarifications in several points in the wording. IFS PACsecure V3 published
​
From July 1st, 2024 it will be possible to perform IFS PACsecure v3 audits. From October 1st, 2024, IFS PACsecure version 3 audits will be mandatory. The main changes are an updated checklist and a points system with the "B". There are also additional clarifications. Further information can be found at www.ifs-certification.com.
IFS Logistics V3 published

From June 1, 2024 it will be possible to perform IFS Logistics v3 audits. From December 1, 2024, IFS Logistics version 3 audits will be mandatory. The main changes are an updated checklist and a points system with the "B". There is also a clarification and extension of what type of logistics services are permitted. IFS Food V8 published

It will be possible to perform IFS Food v8 Audits from 1st of October 2023. From 1st of January 2024, IFS Food version 8 audits will be mandatory. Significant changes are an updated checklist, the new scoring system with "B" again and a number of clarifications in the wording of the Standard. IFS ESG Check

IFS has been suspended by GFSI
​
The IFS has been suspended from the GFSI since December 8, 2022. It is expected that the suspension will end on March 8, 2023. The reasons are purely formal and have nothing to do with the performance of the IFS certification as such. IFS certificates continue to be recognized by a very large number of customers. The IFS suspension from GFSI has been lifted as of today.
IFS Progress (formerly "Global Markets") Food v3

From 1st of July 2023, the IFS Progress Food version 3 can be audited. On 1st October 2023 it becomes mandatory. From this date, only assessments with version 3 can be performed. Significant changes are:

Version 3 is aligned with the IFS Food Standard, the IFS Product and Process Approach, the assessment trail, the new Codex Alimentarius and the latest regulations.

Introducing 15 new requirements ensures compliance with legal requirements and essential fundamental topics. It enhances the implementation of elementary food safety and quality management processes.

The program wording is consistent and explicit for easy comprehensibility.

improved consistency of the requirement levels and split up some requirements to fit better with the individual level.

New, in version 3, are options for follow-up assessments, extension assessments and voluntary unannounced assessments.

The updated report format allows for a clear and concise presentation of assessment results.
IFS HPC v3 - for Cosmetics, Household and Personal Care Products

From 1st of September 2023, the IFS HPC Standard version 3 becomes mandatory. From this date, only certification audits with version 3 can be performed. It is already possible to perform IFS HPC V3 Audits from 1st of June 2023. Significant changes are an updated checklist, new rules for implementation of corrective actions and optional unannounced audits.

GlobalGAP Chain of Custody ("CoC") v6.1

From 1st of July 2023, the GlobalGAP CoC Standard Version 6.1 becomes mandatory. From this date, only certification audits with version 6.1 can be performed. It is already possible to perform GloblGAP CoC v6.1 Audits from 1st of January 2023. The Standards includes several clarifications and changes in the checklist.
